I have been on Venlafaxine for over three years and on my second day of detox. My brain feels like it is in an electrical storm.
I am curious about the Benadryl connection to reducing these symptoms and what are the Benadryl side effects. Will I be trading one set of side effects for another just as bad or worse???
Hi, Benadryl helps to calm the "brain "Zaps" and the effects are minimal. It was a life saver for me.

Take your withdrawal super slow. Dont rush it. If your having these symptoms after 2 days then your going too fast. Slow down and dont expect your doctor to be much help. Find a new and better doctor if needed.
