This surely can’t be anxiety can it?

hi this cant be anxiety surely. it is going worse i am pretty sure it is a brain tumor or something. weird thing is i dont have headaches but its weirdest feeling in head symptoms below cloudy vision buzzing feeling in head hear pulse in my ears and head esp when going bed adrenaline rushes through body lightheaded feeling head feels really heavy but no pain blurry vision when i panic more i am convinced this is a brain tumor? no one i have spoke to has these anxiety symptoms or panic attack symptoms

Please help I am so worried it is going worse

i have these symptoms with my vision. doctor thinks they r silent migraines. u should get a mri or cat scan, not sure the difference between the two. just to rule out a brain tumor. u can ask for one if your doctor doesnt want to send u for it.

got me worried now. i am not getting any headaches or anything like that its these comstant waves of fear wash through my body and my vision looks like i am looking through a room of smoke. also the heavy head feeling.

i am scared you think it maybe a tumor. had mri 4 years ago and it cane back all clear

no im not saying its a brain tumor at all. i just think if you saw the results it might put your mind at ease.

Could a tumor develop in 4 years since my last mri?

Hi,
If this is of any re-assurance I have had MRI scan, visited GP and neurologist with the following from your list:

cloudy vision

buzzing feeling in head

adrenaline rushes through body

lightheaded feeling

head feels really heavy but no pain

blurry vision when i panic more

Every test came back as normal, I was very surprised and relieved as I was convinced like yourself something worse must be causing these problems. I have felt my balance going off, waves going through the head and intense head pressure.

This has all been put down to stress / anxiety / depression of which I was put on meds (amitriptyline). I still feel these symptoms now (at work it is at it’s worst - at home I feel fine) wish there was a solution :frowning:

HI Crispy your symptoms sound exactly what I am experiencing. What can we do? When will it get better? I am on day 5 of citalopram

Do you ever get deja vu or random memory recall?

idk? u could always ask your doctor.

Hi Jon,

I wish I had the answer…:frowning: I think you need to find what is triggering your anxiety and try to reduce / remove the problem. I thought my symptoms just happened at the workplace as a result from being in front of a monitor for a lot of the day, but have also felt the same at other times. At a recent social event I couldn’t wait to get home as my head pressure was building and eye-sight was going strange (like in a dream / unreality state - difficult to describe).

If you are really worried maybe see the doctor to arrange for a scan ?

Very likely related to your anxiety disorder. Adrenaline rush is the physical cause of anxiety. Pulsing in ears or buzzing very common with anxiety. Light headed common as well especially during a more pronounced episode. Vision issues aren’t common but I’ve had persistent vision issues at times. Not sure why, but likely due to blood chemistry changes (e.g. low blood sugar).
