I had a thr in the beginning of january, all was excellent until about 1-2 months ago when i started to get pain in my right knee when walking or after sitting down for a while, this was the side of the thr. I then started experiencing pain in both of my ankles and the underneath of my feet when walking after sitting down for a long period of time.
Has anybody else experienced anything like this?
Hi Kel
Knee pain is often a problem if you
don't straighten your leg or lock your knee.
Can you straighten your leg and
lock it straight?
As I understand it knee problems ate often solved
By exercise

Hell Kel
I have a similar problem and go to a heated pool to do physio exercises that I have been shown and then have a spa concentrating on my knee and under feet. I also do phsio at home but do not do anything that means I kneel at the moment. I can bend down extending bad leg back straight and using good leg bent to pick things up from floor etc. I also used deep heat and a knee support when the pain is bad.
All the best. Nothing worse than another lot of pains after this major surgery.
hi kel,
so sorry to hear this ... the way you describe it seems to point at the way you are walking ...
could this be possible? do you have physical therapy?
I know that when I become sloppy in the way I walk, like posture and not finishing my step, I experience stiffness and pain - also affects knees and ankles -
Have it checked, Kel and let us know how you are getting on ...
big warm hug
