Hello Everyone
This is my first time here and would like to ask a couple if questions. I had my THR 5 days ago so i know its early days but is it normal to have a lot of pain in my groin and also pain in my knee also my knee always feels cold to the touch, its my knee that wakes me through the night.
Any input would be appreciated and thank you in advance

Not sure how to start a post, so I thought I just reply, hoping someone will answer. Have just come out of surgery and on bed rest for today. Is it possible to dislocate your hip with a bed pan?! Might just be a coincidence but have pain on the underside of my hip now(bottom). I am fairly young so maybe the replacement nurse was a bit speedy pushing it under?! Sorry, I am a worrier.

I have just had mine done today. How are you feeling now? The middle of my leg is still numb, I hope it’s not an infection. Are you home now? Hope you are recovering well.
After my op I felt like I’d been kicked on the backside by a horse. It does get better.
