Threadworm problem

I'm really worried. I've had threadworms since I was a young child, I am now 18, I was just too embarrassed to tell anyone or purchase medication, although I tried everything else, such a not eating sugar and eating certain foods. I plan on ordering medication online, does anyone know where I can do this safely? I also am unable to wash my sheets and clean as frequently as needed to kill them but will it still work if I keep my hands and body clean and keep my hands away from my mouth? I don't really have any symptoms, but I see them sometimes and they seem to get worse when I'm sick? Its beginning to affect my life because I'm afraid to have sex incase they are seen or spread and I heard that they may make you infertile? Sorry for such a long post but if anyone has ANY advice I would really appreciate the help. Also is it possible that they have done bad things for my health having them so many years?

Go to the pharmacy and buy the Ovex. Those shop assistants are handing over cream for piles, vaginal itching etc all day long and don’t bat an eyelid.  Then go to Primark and buy a weeks worth of short type knickers (the microfibre ones) and leggings. Wear both in bed and carefully remove in the shower each morning before storing separately to your other laundry. Wash once a week on a long cycle and tumble dry. No need for constant sheet changing. Be brave and get rid once and for all. Good luck x

Don't worry. Tell your parents/a trustworthy figure, and wash all bedding and clothes in the house. You need to buy a tablet, and give one to all people in your home. WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE EATING, AFTER BEING IN CONTACT WITH YOUR REAR, AND AFTER YOU'VE BEEN TO THE TOILET!!! This will help. Also, don't be ashamed! It happens to us all!

Best wishes,

Also, eggs last up to 2-3 weeks so keep up the hygiene routine. When the worms exit your body, you will see them in your bodily disposal (poo). Don't freakout!
