I've been taking Citalopram for about 10 weeks not currently on 40mg and have been for about 5 weeks, I was starting to feel better and had 2 really good weeks then all of a sudden I feel like I've gone backwards again one little feeling of dizziness and all the panic has flooded back does this mean the tablets are no longer working? Any advice you have I would really appreciate X
These medications will not generally cure you over a short period. Has something upset you ?
Have you been on this dose of medication for five weeks, if so give it a bit longer to work. If you feel you are having problems with your medications, go and make another appointment to discuss the dose

I've posted something very similar to what have written and I have learned that staying positive and just choosing to ignore everything I can as far as symptoms has made a huge difference. For me it always hits hard at about 530 or so and lasts until about 730ish and for the first hr it's terrible then I say I was good before and I'll be good again just a small glitch now before I had weeks and weeks of non stop anxiety and all the symptoms but I just made a decision that I wasn't lettin it win anymore, it has taken two months of my life and it's gonna have to fight me to take anymore so I ignore all the symptoms and find something to do even if it's just reading a book or watching tv or talking with my wife or anything that can take your attention for a min cause a min turns to ten minutes and then ten to 30 then 30 to an hr and so on and before I know it in feeling better I hope this helps
Hi Rachael I have been on a low dose of Cit 10mg for 10 months and still get days when I think the tablets are not working !!! I find that my anxiety is not too bad as long as I am feeling ok physically, but as you said, the minute I feel a bit dizzy or unbalanced the anxiety comes flooding back and I feel really ill again. It is an absolute nightmare. What is the answer.....I wish I knew !! Lol. Lily xx
