Dont know if it’s related to my partial hip surgery but for the past 5 days or so I have been experiencing painless throbbing n pulsating sensations throushout my surgery leg…Has anyone else experienced this?It feels weird n sometimes like a bubble like movement several times a day at different parts of leg.
If what you’re feeling could be described as spasm-like…I get those funny around my swollen knee. But it only happens where it’s swollen. I don’t know if that’s helpful or not. I am 4 months post op…and it has been getting less frequent.

Sometimes it feels like a strong heart beat…it’s throbbing like headaches…n it doesnt matter what I’m doing at the time.
Yes, total hip replacement. What I’m describing is kinda like a throb and a twitch. It’s hard to put into words, isn’t it.? Mine is improving is slowly improving tho I think.

Mine just happens her n there on different areas of leg…yes hard to describe..sometimes like a bubble moving…Did your foot ever get swollen?
Was THR due to a fall?
No, I had a most unusual pre-surgery experience…I walked for 3 weeks with fractured hip. I had pain, but I thought it was bursitis…when pain did get really bad went to ER and was shocked hip was broken.
At my 2 week surgery followup I walked perfectly with no pain. Whatever this is Im feeling now started 2 weeks after that first followup…and then came the virus so no, have not told surgeon about this yet. As I think I’ve said, it’s not really pain I’m feeling…it’s a strange feeling I’m having trouble explaining. (as you are too.)
