Thunderstorm after 2 weeks

Getting on well after my second stage. No pain at all and I'm walking about 2 miles a day.

Set off to get the paper from the village shop this morning in the sunshine and I was just approaching the village when I heard the first clap of thunder. For the first time I'd come out without a waterproof! I hoped I'd make the shop before the rain started but a few thunderclaps later  and it was tipping it down. Luckily I was able to shelter under a tree until my dear wife came and resued me.

Think I'll remember a waterproof in the future

Other than that I'm happy with my progress, still using two crutches outside.

Mike

Err Michael, sheltering under a tree in a thunderstorm could have had an electrifying outcome!

Good that you are doing well and got home safe and sound.

Cheers Richard

Hi Mike,

Richard is right, you know ... happy you made it through and doing so great -

Richard

Yes I know it's not advised but I was in a wood and there were bigger trees around.

Thanks for your concern

Mike

Glad you're doing well Michael, you take care sheltering under trees in a storm! Weird weather today, I was swimming off the south coast this morning, in the sunshine, then we drove back to London later in some heavy rain. Come on summer....where have you gone?
