Thyroid concerns

I recently had a neck CT done bcuz I felt inflammation on one side and like someone is choking me and it showed mildly enlarged thyroid with a few nodules. In the past I've had borderline FT4 at 0.8/0.9 but it recently has increased to 1.1. TSH is in range but it seems to fluctuate. I have yet to follow up with an endocrinologist. I keep having constant problems with my tongue with a nasty taste and flat ulcers on my tongue. Is that related to any autoimmune disorders? I had an ANA test and it was fine. I never would have known about my thyroid had I not did the CT bcuz all my thyroid labs were always in range. I also suffer with brown spots on my face which drives me crazy all my hormone tests are normal but it resembles melasma. I just need some advice! I just want to feel well again and get me skin back to normal!

Thanks!

Hi my symptons are more cough and has if Someone's holding my higher throat blooods normal still waiting for scan in thyroid also feel not 100 percent for last few months xx

It is very common and normal for thyroid levels to fluctuate throughout the day.  Your levels may never be exactly the same with each time tested.  As for your tight neck feeling.. it could be thyroid or not, it seems as though your doctors are headed in the right direction with the blood test, and now the ultrasound.  Ultrasound will show goiter if you have one.  Also, brown spots on face are very common with everyone.  They can be caused from sun exposure, eating sugar, or taking birth control.  You can fade these brown spots with products that contain skin lightners, such as niacinamide, kojic acid, Azelaic acid, arbutrin, vitamin c, or Hydroquinone.  Try to be patient, as it can take months to see results.  Also.... use sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!  Very important!  Use sunscreen anytime your going to be outside for more then 20 minutes.  It will prevent further damage to the skin.
