I have been on Ameprazole for a number of years after being diagnosed with barrett’s esophagus, had GB out 9 years ago, things not bad with medication for the barrett’s, but within the last couple of weeks I’m experiencing what I kind of had about 23 years ago with a tightness around my throat, I feel it under my chin area going across down the Adam’s apple, it can feel like a burning symptom.
I have started taking gaviscon by the doctor and throat sweets to try and help.
Has anyone else had these symptoms as I’m scared it might be throat cancer, I’m due an endoscopy soon so hopefully they can tell me what is going on.
One thing that does help is when I lie down for bed.
Any thoughts as I’m scared stiff?
