Well folks the time has come for my new hip this Saturday, the first time it was cancelled beacause the blood levels was wrong. (it turned out to be blue.LOL) Went back this time all good, got re-booked which was quick luckly.

I found this forum VERY helpful with response from people about advise and experience. Much appriciated.

After listening to folks on here I got some cold packs and a recliner to get up. Thank god for Ebay. Got a bargain with the recliner at £40

I shall let you know how I got on. Thanks.

Good luck on Saturday. I'm 6 weeks post op and although first weeks are not easy every day showsca little improvement and I can't believe it's already 6 weeks
