this is my 2nd period since i've had LS (i am on the pill so somtimes skip my period! ) last time i couldn't wear pads because it made me sooo sore and tampons were uncomfortable. has anyone got any advice? what does everyone do?

you might find organic cooton to be helpful? one of our members is devising an old fashioned sanitary towel system using a belt and the cotton attached ..you may like to chat to her. I think its g30.... with additional numbers. come onto the site and have a look at discussions going on you may find this one and be able to join in. hope this helps. very best wishes
Hi there guest.....I have exactly the same problems at the time of the month. I found online a sanitary belt like women used to wear. I am making my own pads with organic cotton and will stitch loops to each end to attach to the belt. I can boil wash the used pads and re-use them. I think my own home made pads will be a lot more comfortable than bought sanitary towels. Also they will be perfume and chemical free, which means I won't get irritation like I do from the bought ones. Why do these companies put all these perfumes and such in!
