Time off work

Hi I have been rele struggling lately and have been signed off work for the last 3 weeks I was wondering if anyone has had time off for anxiety and how long you have been off work. I am trying to get myself out of the house more but it's so hard when you feel spaced out and dizzy like your going to pass out 😩 Help please

Hi Jode ..we all reach a pont that you need to take time out from work..employers are becoming more and more aware of mental health in the workplace and are a lot more supportive now..three weeks is not a long time to be off but don't fall into the trap of taking too much time off..it can make it harder to return x

I agree with Peter. I was wondering if you are eating and drinkingor skipping meals and thus adding to the feeling of weakness and feeling faint.

It is important to eat an adequate diet and also not to get dehydrated as this can make you feel faint etc.

Hi. I took about 5 weeks off work I had to do it. I never take time out.im back in work now trying to get back into it.. But was so bad with anxiety.. yes do get out of the house and excercise.its good for the mind.. yoga is great too!

I took 9 months off. I needed it a total break down.

I didn't find it hard to get back into work.

During my time off I still went for walk so I didn't get into the trap of social anxiety.
