Hello fellow hippies.

Sorry I have not been about. Hope you have all had a great christmas.and santa brought you something nice.

I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep over christmas she had to go to rainbow bridge so not really been up to doing much.

I have had to give up some of my pain meds over christmas with only 5  days to go. The pain is unbearable so this will probably be my last post till after my op Started packing my case so I don't forget anything.

Happy new year to you all if you had a bad 2015. I hope 2016 brings you better luck.

So sorry to hear about your dog - unless you have owned and loved an animal of any kind you really can't understand the pain you feel when they die. I know people have said to me over the years "it's only a dog and you can get another" they don't mean it unkindly they just don't understand the dog is a family member.

take care over the coming weeks it will get easier and in time you will be able to remember your lovely pet with a smile instead of the tears you feel now xxxx

Your so right. Im a lizard girl and when one of mine died i was sk heartbroken and people thought i was over reacting. But my geckos are just as good as any other oet and have their own oersonality and even give affection and can react and tell when im upset. Its amazing x

So sorry to hear about your dog you must be heartbroken and trying to deal with the hip pain as well you are doing so so well coping with all what's been happening I have 2 small dogs and they are family members people that don't own a pet do not know the hurt you are in my thoughts take care of yourself and good. Luck with the op, I had mine 10 weeks ago so starting yo get there lots of love and best wishes

I know how you feel. I had to have my beloved cat Billy put down a few months ago. Still have many weepy days. Hope your operation was successful.

I'm so sorry about your dog. It's devastating when you loose someone you you share a life with. And all the more difficult when you're on physical pain too. It's like the troubles get stacked one on top of each other and become too much to bear.

But very good news about packing! I'm so glad you're having your op at last after all this pain and waiting. It's been so long. Please let us know how you go.

Oh hailea, i am so sorry to hear your bad news, she will always be in your heart, a love of a dog never leaves you.  Just think how happy she is over the brodge running free.  Good luck with your op, believe me once its over, you will feel a new person, i wish you a happy pain free new year, and i hope 2016 will bring you joy and happiness.

Dear Hailea 

Really sad to hear the news about your dog. We have always had dogs since we first got married and its devastating when you have to finally say goodbye to them. 

Not long now until your op, I hope your pain isnt too bad. Can you use anything else to help the pain like a tens machine or heat pads. I know they cant tackle really intense pain but they might help to take the edge off?

Hi Hailea sorry to hear about your dog, many people say a dog is a man's best friend and in many cases they are.

Good luck for your op, just think in a few weeks time you will be a new woman. Derek says to tell you that right now he is in less pain than he has been for years, we think this is brilliant.

All the best for 2016, this is going to be your year.
