I've put two and two together and realized I have herpes and I'm having an initial outbreak now. I've been experiencing tingling all over my body: my hands, legs, feet and face but no lesions. I've heard about the prodrome phase but I read it only happened to reoccurring outbreaks? I'm really scared because I'm around a lot of my family and they haven't seen me in a while so they want to hug me but I don't know if I'm contagious all over or if I'm just bugging out or if it's just anxiety. Any comments will help. Thank you.

Get tested. But thrre is no way to give herpes to your family by hugging them. Just stay away from kissing and sex until your results come back and your tupe is identified
Genital herpes does not cause all-over body sensations, and only half of those with genital herpes get prodrome signs, not all. Without lesions and no confirmatory test, there is no reason to conclude you have herpes based on this tingling, and you can't spread herpes via normal/regular skin without lesions.
What are some systoms , I have pain in legs , muscle jumps everywhere , buttocks pain , feel like I have something stuck up there , thigh pain run on the side of my thighs . Knee pain ect tingling on the side of v area with jumping muscles . Hips hurt to touch like I bruise them . Also I had a slight burning sensation during my period on the right side , outside lips for about 10 sec . No sores at all. What that sound like , is it common to have am buring during periods I never notice it before . It could be my tampons or pads
Your symptoms are seemingly all nerve-based, without any actual herpes symptoms (namely lesions). Other issues can cause nerve problems. If you're worried, see a doctor and test for herpes by IgG antibodies (and again at 3 months from last suspected exposure).

Hi again FelizC ... I too am tingling. I had my first outbreak on Oct 2. I've been tingling ever since. Is this a way for me to know another OB is coming? Do u suggest I take another test 3mths to see if my vital load is increasing?. Tested last week test results simplex 1 .9.5 and simplex 2... 23>. Devastated!!!
