Tingling & muscle aches after 3 months of Citalopram

Hi,

I started on 20mg of citalopram for anxiety and after a tough couple of weeks with side effects i started feeling better after about 4 weeks.

After 3 months i’ve started getting tingling and muscle ache sensations which seems to be worsening. Am going to speak with my GP about this but wondered if anyone had a similar experience?

Hi, I get those feelings, and restless leg syndrome and the odd muscle jolt spasms when im resting. i’ve learned to live with it. side effects come and go. check with your doctor but as far as im concerned its to be expected with these SSRIs.

Hi Steve, did the muscle aches stop?? I’m 9 weeks into citalopram and just started with muscle aches a week ago and it’s making me feel terrible!
