Hello everyone,
I’m sure a similar problem has already been discussed in this community, but I couldn’t find something that addressed what I’m experiencing specifically.
I broke my left ankle on both sides (if I’m not mistaken) when I fell off my bicycle. I got operated on one side, but the other I was told would heal on its own. It’s been two weeks since the operation and I just got my stitches taken out yesterday. Today, however, I feel a strange tingling sensation going down the part of my left leg that is in a cast, and I felt discomfort around the side that was not operated on. I’ve been keeping my leg raised as I’ve been told by the doctors, and when I lift my leg independently of the pillows that sensation is left only on the non-operated side of the ankle (and sometimes it goes away completely). However when the leg is resting the tingling sensation is present on the top part of the foot, both sides of the ankle, as well as part of the leg itself.
Does anyone know the reason for it? Is there anything to worry about?
I really didn’t think that the side of my ankle that wasn’t operated would give me any trouble, however here we are…
