've only recently been brave enough to start taking Sertraline, for chronic anxiety, my dose is 25g plus Diazepam for the first week. I am on day 5 and the only symptom until now was a dry mouth in the evening. But about 30 mins ago I experienced 2 successive hot shivery sensations from the bottom of my legs that spread up to the back of my neck which ended in a burning sensation. Has anyone else had these side effects during the first week? It's quite scary as I really want to give this medication a chance.
Plz do give it a chance I had all sorts of scary side effects, and almost quit because I thought I was going insane, but eventually it died down and I started to get well, they saved my life thank god.
50mg is usually the lowest therapeutic dose, but it’s good ur starting on a low dose to give your body chance to get used to it.
