I have had some tinnitus (a buzzing sound) in my ear for some weeks now. It's variable in intensity. Sometimes it's quite faint, sometimes annoying.
In recent days though I have been playing card games on a low table with someone which involves sitting in a chair and frequently leaning forward to play a card or pick up a card. Often I find that my tinnitus can increase pretty majorly while I'm doing it. The effect is not immediate, but after about maybe 5-10 minutes of play my tinnitus can increase. Not always, but usually. However if I lie down on a bed for about 10 minutes or so the tinnitus subsides gradually to it's usual level.
Does this suggest muscle tension playing a role? Or perhaps a nerve problem, such as muscles pressing down on a nerve.
Appreciate any help.
