Hi,

   I suddenly started having that whooshing sound in my Left ear Only 2 days ago,it happened all of a sudden in the morning!!!I got so worried,called my Doctor’s office and luckily got an appointment the same day.Told my Doc about how it happened all of a sudden,she checked my ear and said it was Tinnitus,there was nothing to be worriedand dismissed me

So,I had been hearing my heartbeat in my left ear days before this occurred.Just don’t know if it’s related to it.Now it’s a continuous whoosh in my left ear only

Please advise me what needs to be done.....what could be causing it?

I am a 44 years old Female.Also,my neck area is sore most of the times because of exercise.

I've read that pulsatile tinnitus, where you hear your heartbeat, it can be due to high blood pressure.

My blood pressure is normal.

Hi, I've had tinnitus for 23 years both ears, I say ears but it's really in your head, brain doing it, it's a sort of phantom noise is tinnitus, it may go or could be permanent, I don't wish to scare you or upset you, I was just stating the facts, and there is no real treatment or cure.

Iv had T for 2 yrs now. Started off just horrible. Have learned to deal with it..not easy but doable. Have fluttering at times and have myself heard a few x heartbeat in ear. So frightening. My head has so many different sounds at times, but wht can ya do? Stress is a culprit, loud noises affect it, sugar affects it etc. Lack of rest too..affects it ..as time goes on it gets to where u can deal better..good days, bad days..we just cope. .hope u fare well..
