Spotted a tiny pink/red dot on my foreskin yesterday while taking a picture to check on
some contact dermatitis irritation i was experiencing on my shaft this week.
i cant see the spot unless i take a picture of it with a flash. also, it doesn't hurt, no discharge either. ive attached a picture and circled the area.
any idea oh what it could be? haven't been sexually active in a few years, so this rules out any sexually transmitted issues.
It’s a tiny “blood spot” or angioma. It’s benign but they can often appear as multiple lesions. Can you see others anywhere else? Nothing to worry about.

i checked last night for others and found a tiny one at the back of my penis, just under the corona of the glans. as with the first one i found it doesnt hurt, bleed, or itch.
is it normal for them to be flat and not raised? also will they go away on their own?
They can be either flat if they are tiny or raised if they are larger (>1mm); difficult to predict in individual cases if more will develop or not. They often settle over time and treatment is unnecessary in most cases.
