hi all i have gad and its constant at the moment i feel so tense and my legs are always aching. anyone got any good tips to feel refreshed no matter if i get a good light sleep i always wake up feeling tense and flagging. many thanks.

few things you can try - get an adult coloring book, meditate (download an app called headspace), but i would really suggest finding a hobby as this gives your mind a positive focus and can keep you from chasing bad thoughts all day - try working out, cycling, gaming, etc.
loads you can do. I would suggest gym and focusing on your diet. It works wonders for your mental health when you get into it.
i found that youtube has helped me so much with my anxiety and insomnia. i get bad headaches and pains and id just watch funny videos or tutorials and they helped me distract from my pain.
that or try a coloring book.
If you’re suffering from anxiety, I HIGHLY recommend the book “Anxiety & Phobia Workbook (6th edition)”. I read this recently, it’s soooo interesting and very helpful, and a very easy read!
- It also gives lots of relaxation techniques, including a link to their website where you can download audio meditation tapes. I found these very helpful. I really wish I read this book sooner.
