I've been on Sertraline for a while now but tiredness is for me the most problematic side-affect. I've mentioned this to my GP and they've confirmed that this can happen, but suggesting that exercise will help.
It's beginning to get a bit embarrising at work when I constantly feel like I'm nodding off to sleep.
My work involves sitting at a desk so this doesnt help.
Has anyone got any suggestions on whats worked for them?
I had the same problem and someone told me to take it at night, so I asked my PC Doctor and he said " oh yea, that would probably help". I'd been telling him for a long time how tired I was and he couldn't of thought of this hisself? We won't go into how upset I am at him at the moment. I'm usually real calm but I feel my Doctor has let me down one to many times. I'm done!
Hi i av taken these for almost 2years but on a night and have no problems x
Hi! Yes, it will make you drowsy sometime. That is still my no. 1 complaint, but I probably have some years on you. I don't know what the name of your med is, but there are a lot of these meds, maybe your doc should consider trying you on another. What one person takes, is sometimes not for the other. Supplements, especially b-12 helps me some. Sorry, it must be terrible to work but sleep intervenes. Hope you get an answer.
