Second hip getting done tomorrow...reality kicking in.

My first one is tomorrow at 8am. Idk if its reality or anxiety...or both...but man o man I nervous as hell!! But I made a batch of my special brownies to stay away from pain pills! Best wishes!!!

Best wishes to you as well...I've been through it once and know it will be ok in the long run. The anticipation to the surgery is scary, but you will love the results!

Hi Mike, I got a call this morning canceling my op which should have been tomorrow after stressing for weeks I'm now so disappointed as I just want to get on with it. You get prepped and I wish you well for tomorrow, keep us posted with your recovery X

Sorry to hear about your postponement...there IS so much work in getting everything ready, that would be a bummer. But I'm a big believer in things happen for a reason, so let's hope the next date is the perfect date to get the best result.

Well I lived to tell about it. Surgery seems to have gone really well, my legs are much closer to being the same length again.

But I do have a bad case of neausia from all the meds, so post op hadn't been a piece of cake. But I know this will pass.

It's going. Having a really hard time with nausea and not able to sleep much. But surgery went very well. Was able to walk 2x today. Many challenges to overcome but im just listening to doctors and staff. Totally new pain has replaced the other pain so thats good. Just gotta get rid of this nausea. How is yours progressing?
