[TMI Pic Warning] Pimple or random wart?

Background: I've purposefully abstained from below the belt sexy stuff (aside from [sanitized] solo toy play) for probably a decade now. I know, it may seem odd for someone in their 30s, but I wanted to avoid getting myself into trouble after a couple bad breakups. The last two exes/partners I had were both clean, and I know I'm clean. I haven't done anything beyond below the waist action with my current partner. So, I know for a fact this isn't HPV related. I do plan on a physical again soon, but I noticed this pure white bulb near my booty bit which hasn't worried me until now, because I can't be certain it's gotten bigger. It showed up about a week ago, just before I got sick with a flash sinus infection. Roughly every month, I do run into the odd abscess near my genital area, but this typically correlates with my monthly cycle and is only centered around inner thighs and buttocks, near the separation. But clearly, this is different. I've read that a low immune system can cause a wart to show up, and I haven't been sick in over a year, not even catching someone's cold. The weather was hot/cold/hot/cold, and my body just gave up trying to fight it. It doesn't hurt, but when touching it, I noticed it felt hard like a thick skin tag, but smooth like an abscess. The skin even feels tight on it just like an abscess. Poking it with a needle started to hurt, so I can tell it isn't an abscess. I wanted to see if the bump itself had any connection to nerves, hence the needle prodding. I am admittedly 174lbs, and for my height I should be 120lbs. I'm overweight but not obese. Last year I'd made it half way to my goal weight, but between sickness and a bout with depression, I gained it back. It's my believe that the weight gain could encourage such a growth because I could have a lowered immune system. I'm not eating terribly, but I could be lacking in immune-boosting nutrients. Sorry for the TL/DR and the TMI pic, but this is the only way I'll get an answer to my concerns.

I’m guessing I’m not going to get any help on this site, so I’ll just wait until I have my physical, and ask the doctor questions. Once I get real answers, I’ll try to remember to update here so that others can know what this is.

Given my history with moles, skin tags, and actually having a mole develop a similarly-sized skin tag under it, I’m going to assume that this is kind of like a skin tag, just in a more unmentionable region. Given the fact that I lady-scape once a week, to promote super clean hygiene, it could be related to dead skin cells creating some kind of weird build up, something to do with the hair follicles in the area, oil glands acting up… that’s usually the case when a bump looks pure white like this.

I’ve seen no size changes, and what I have doesn’t match the common safe warts or abscesses. It isn’t painful either, unless I try to poke it with a pin. My best guess is… booty skin tag? lol

I haven’t been to the doctor yet, but I actually have an update. Please pardon the photos, but there’s a chance they may be of some help for anyone who hasn’t had this issue before. Given this was completely new for me , especially in the anal area, it had me worried. And we all know how freaky it is to have something show up there!

What happened today was that I’d noticed I’d felt a very slight pinching feeling where this pimple was. I ignored it just in case it was behaving like it was irritated, and wanted to give it time to calm down. About 6 hours later, I noticed the pinch felt like a cut that was healing over, like it was kind of tender. When I finally had the time to check on it with a makeup mirror with a magnification side, I checked on it. I thought it seemed more bulbous but not bigger. When I gently prodded it with my finger, it actually rolled off. I transferred it to tissue, then scrap dark paper for the attached photos.

From the upper left to the lower right, in a Z pattern, here’s what’s going on:

UL: I circled the spot where the pimple/growth was attached. As you can see, there’s some raised skin, as if the place where it detached was closing off the pimple’s skin to help it fall off.

UR: The bobby pin is there to offer a sense of scaling. The fuzzy bit you see is from where it stuck to tissue. It’s not part of the pimple.

BL: When trying to pierce it with a pin, I noticed it felt hard, as if it became dead skin, like a skin tag that finally suffocated. Except, this didn’t have that rough feeling or turn dark like I’ve had a couple skin tags turn into.

BR: When I sliced it up with the pin, it behaved dry yet tacky, like half cooked rice. Likewise, it could be rolled back into a ball shape.

Conclusion: In spite of how I use a large cup of water as a manual biday, and wash after each bathroom visit, and use flushable wipes when using public restrooms, it seems that I ran into a clogged oil duct that produced an abscess or pimple that behaved differently than expected. Because I’d felt sharp pain when trying to see if it’d pop while still attached, my guess is that the skin itself grew around whatever foreign object that was clogging the oil duct, and grew thick enough to where the nerve endings in the area would feel pain.

It looked weird, especially given it was pearly white compared to the rest of my skin. Because it stood above the skin, it was easy to mistake it as some kind of wart. Another thing to note is that this finally fell off on the day I’d felt that my sickness/coughing was under control. Another idea is that it fell off just after my menstrual cycle officially ended. Could it have shown up due to feeling sick? Or was it part of the 28 day cycle and hormone related? Given I do develop abscesses about 2 weeks into my 28 day cycle, and usually around the genital or butt area, I’m tempted to believe it could have been a similar issue. I also shave once a week, and have very thick Asian hair due to my heritage, and I have gotten a few ingrown hairs here and there. If it wasn’t a clogged oil duct, it was a hair filament.

Either way, the case is 80% solved, and it wasn’t some weird sexual health issue.
