Last Febuary I had severe electric shocks in my molar. It was cracked to the point it needed to be pulled but my dentist wasn't comfortable working on me since I was 5 months pregnant (I don't know why). I suffered for 4 months with painful shocks that would come and go, to the point I became depressed because I was scared to death to leave home. They would last a month or so and go away for a few weeks and just when I thought I was in the clear, BOOM. Another one! It was crazy and I hated it. Fortunately I haven't had any severe electrics shocks (knock on wood) since I had dentel work done. BUT I do still get painful little zaps, but I'll take them any day over those God awful jabs. I went 3 months pain free (Sept - Dec) but sure enough, I began getting pains again. But instead of the big sharp shocks, my whole entire jaw hurts, including my ears! Sometimes my neck will hurt with it. It's the weirdest feeling but it really really hurts. I'm not sure what to do. I do need more dental work done but I have to pay some on my previous work before they will work on me again. I also sometimes expereince times where my cheeks will hurt. Sometimes my whole entire side of my face will hurt. Could it be an ear infection with TN? TMJ?
Has anyone ever experinced something like this? I researched and TMJ has kept popping up. Before, when I had the big severe jabs it was popping up TN. I'm just not sure...
