Took Combantrin and still slight itch? (threadworms)

I took Combantrin(Pyrantel Pamoate) on Wednesday afternoon and I still feel a bit of an itch. Is this normal?

Alright guys,

This is it. Touch wood, it's been months since I've had any symptoms or problems through these steps

1) u have to be militant with hygiene. Hoover ur bedroom every single day, including bed sheets (didn't necessity change everyday but hoovered each morning). Wash ur hands, cleans all light switches and door handles daily. Shower twice a day and change underwear each time. Wash all underwear  ASAP. Clean, short nails.

2) TIGHTEST fitting pants at night so u have to wake up to itch urself therefore resisting the urge to itch

3) take 2 mebendazole tablets twice a day for 3 days

4) drink the probiotic yoghurt stuff (Yakut) once daily

5) cut out all sugar from diet

6) eat a few cloves each day (they taste foul but they work!). I took the cloves and downed the Yakut after.

7) wear clean clothes everyday.

8) I used to eat fresh papaya too!

Hope this all works for u. I have been liberated. It's been over 6 months now. I pray ot stays this way. Never been symptom free for so long before.

Good luck!!

I havn't had this problem myself but anon just reminded me about papaya, its  seeds are apparently  a very effective treatment for worms.

Hi, I think I  finally found something that works, it's DE , diamatoceous earth. I take 2 tablespoons daily, and noticed a huge difference in symptoms. I strongly recommend it to all sufferers, try it daily (with water or another drink) . You can get DE from Amazon, or check any shop specialising in health/diet supplements.
