Hi. I've got to have my first wisdom tooth out (under sedation) next month. Can anyone tell me what to expect afterwards place? Will I be in a lot of pain and will I be able to eat? Will my face feel numb and if so, for how long? Will it bleed a lot once I am home? Many thanks for any advice and information.
Hi. The best answer I can give anyone is that we all feel pain at different levels and each experience is different depending on our tolerance and condition of our mouth. For example. ..do you have gum disease? Are you tolerant to anesthesia and can you stand heat or cold? My experience was not entirely pleasant but I was comfortable at my own level. I was completely numb and it took ma few hours to feel my lips. I could eat but nothing hot because mine was cut% out. Still was a a comfortable and reassuring visit.
Also will add that there should not be alot of bleeding. Just do what your dentist advises you to and you should be good. Again its depending on the condition and tolerance
