I had a THR, anterior approach, 4 days ago. Oxycodone was of limited help. A Toradol injection (an anti-inflammatory) on the 2nd day gave me complete relief in a resting position. It can have strong side effects and is not always prescribed.
I keep a stash of it handy due to spinal stenosis and the recent hip issue
oh I am so happy Toradol worked for you!! ..... I am allergic to it......bummed....
