Hello, It's me again with a new question. Does anyone know if there is any advantage to having computer assisted TKR as compared to traditional? I have an ortho that has done some traditional treatments on me who doesn't do the computer assisted TKR. I have a relationship with him and have liked what he's done so far. So, would it be worth going with a computer/robotic assist TKR or just stay with the tried and, so far, true doc? Thanks again, Kel
I just had my TKR done 8 weeks ago and my surgeon did computer assisted (robot). I’ve learned that’s how they make sure its 0 degrees off for alignment. I would talk to him.
GOOD LUCK, it’s a long hard recovery but worth it.
