Does anybody know how long it usualy takes to get the results back from these ultra sounds please? Also does anybody know as of any reason I was asked tonpress down on the right hand side of my stomach during thebtransvaginal is this usualy because they found somethi Ng? I'm just so worried

It usually takes about a week for the results to come back. It doesn't mean they have found anything at all it maybe they can get a clearer view if you press down on the side. I had an ultrasound scan and I had to press down here and there. I got my results within a week. They found an ovarian cyst on my USound, and I have to go back in six week as apparently they usually disappear on their own...if it has grown it will have to come out.....hope this help..best wishes..
Mine took a couple of weeks . Don't worry about having to press down, just as you have to drink wTer till your bladder feels as if fit will burst, it's just another way to help them to get a clearer image of the parts they are looking at . I have had two now and both came back ok although I still get frequent bladder infection which was the reason for having it in the first place.
Hi ; shouldn't take long; i had a vaginal ultrasound; and during that they told me i was retaining some fluid but everything looked ok.. not meaning that they found something ; but even if they found something suspect; they would have to check it out.. so then perhaps it may take longer than a couple of weeks to a month!!
That said; i asked my gp service to inform me when they had the results; and well over a month later( and i was in severe pain) i phoned htem up; and finally someone got back to me; they had had the test results for some time .. no one had followed me up.
So please; keep checking in with your GP. It may just be tardiness on their part; or they may be being thorough. have you phoned the department direct.. ?
