Anyone heard of it? I stumbled across it and it fits a range of my symptoms from depression to anxiety to alcohol use. Has anyone tried it? Wondering if I should ask my psychiatrist about it or would he feel I’m researching drugs too much.

Not sure whereabouts you are but in the UK it’s not prescribed much as a stand alone antidepressant. When I was on it my psychiatrist told me it isn’t particularly effective so is mainly just prescribed as an add on to help with sleep as it’s fairly sedating.

Just another generic antidepressant ,i take similar one,and i wish i never started!
You need to try and reduce your drinking otherwise they won’t work.
Is there any reason why your psychiatrist has not put you on anything? ie other medical issues/alcohol
I would say i tried shoulder and back massage and lost most of tension(felt great)only wish i had done it sooner!!!
Plus i try and walk approx 7000 steps a day.
Going back to the drug,if you can find alternative solution it would be better for you.(i have 46 years on tablets)
