Male in late 20s...started to see spots, got one cryo'd off. All STD tests come back clean. Looking at HPV wart images, it doesn't look anything like mine. I've been using aldera (imiquidmod 5% cream) for a few weeks now and would cause the parts to become a sore and then heal up.
Any thoughts on what this could be - or could the docs be right in thinking it's HPV? Went to a free clinic by the way.
I received a reply on reddit STD “I’ve seen genital warts on my clients that have looked just like this which have been diagnosed by doctors when I ask them for notes, personally I always recommend cryo over topical creams because it’s more efficient and effective. I don’t think you got a wrong diagnosis and you should continue to treat this as genital warts.”
I think I’ll go back for more cryo as it seems more effective
if they are blister like sores that scab and heal over then its probably herpes its not hpv
if they are not blisters an more like little lumps then they are most likley to be warts
