I am wondering what treatment would be used to treat Vasculitis as I've read that chemotherapy is used is this true?
Sometimes yes but there are a wide variety of medications used. Such a wide area. Depends on symptoms....how you are affected and what the dangers are to your health.
Thank you Margaret I'm unsure of what type I have as I haven't seen the rheumatologist just yet I'm just trying to learn as much as I can until my appointment so I can get a better understanding of what's to come next! My symptoms are hands feet face nipples go numb blue purple white and red. Knee pains every joint kills me atm, ibs symptoms, migraines where my right leg gives way, period messed up, dry patches on my arms back face, my ear drums are inside out for some reason and my vision is getting worse as the days go on. So many weird things today I can't stop crying feel like a ticking time bomb x
Oh I really sympathise I felt awful pre diagnosis. This is a difficult illness to endure and diagnosis and treatment are so difficult too. I wish you the best x
