Tremors/ Shaking when trying to fall asleep

Hi Guys! I'm a 16 year old girl and for about a week now something has been bothering me lately when i try to fall asleep. for some reason when i feel drowsy and about to fall asleep my body just starts to shake internally and so is my vision. the shake isnt visible at all so i thought it was internal. the shaking stops once i wake myself up completely... any idea as to why im feeling this tremors? this has been bothering me and i have been sleeping late because of fhe fear that the shake will happen again... (i have anxiety and my eye was twitching a few weeks before this)

based on my google searches before, i think this is common for people with Anxiety.. I experienced this as well.

Hello I’m 13 and i know how you feel but my eyes or okay and i have that feeling too sometimes internally i shake at night when sleeping but it passes after awhile. Thought i reccomend to take a deep breath and exhale in till you feel like you’re not inside your own brain anymore like you got out, as well tilt your head back while doing that for more relaxed that’s mostly what helps me and maybe try to put some classic or piano music and try to fall asleep. I really hope you get better cause the eye problem must be pretty scary.

thank you for that but may i ask did the shaking ever go away?

shaking due to anxiety wont hurt you. it does go away, but can return if anxiety isnt managed somewhat.
see if your parents can schedule an appointment with a counselor who can help u manage it. it really helps!
ANXIETY symptoms are mainly felt in the nervous system like muscle twitches, tingling, shakiness, etc.
i always recommend getting a checkup by your doctor for peace of mind.
great meditations on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, etc i really like one called Its Ok by lauren. very calming!
TAKE CARE!
