I too have TN. Was first put on carbamenapine, but could not tolerate it. Doctor took me off it and put me on Gabapentin. I sharted with 100m and increased up to 900mg. It took about 3 weeks before the accuate pain subsided. Hang in there.
I had atypical the episodes at first would last from 15-30min. Then lessened once on tegretol.
