Trintellix and Remeron vs. Prozac and Lexapro 

Hello all, I am a 36 year old male who decided to try an antidepressant about two years ago.  I took it moreso to help with mood swings and agitation rather than depression.  

I’ve been on Wellbutrin for almost 15 years and it was just not enough by itself.

Anyway, I started a small dose of Lexapro in December 2016 it worked well but killed my sex drive and I put on like 3lbs.  I them tried Cymbalta which was pretty similar- these meds are hell when coming on and going off of by the way....

 I suggested Prozac to My Dr. but after doing research the side effects are worse than both Lexapro and Cymbalta I have been on a merry-go-round with these meds for quite some time and just want to finally get it right.

My question is, has anyone tried Trintellix or Remeron?  From what I read online, these both have the least amount of sexual side effects.  I just want my Libido back... without the severe withdrawal symptoms I’ve experienced.

Any help is appreciated

I was on lexapro but did not work very well went on Mirtazapine but got reaction to it now i am on fluoxetine and doing very good with it.

I believe fluoxetine is the generic for Prozac.  That is what my Dr. Just prescribed me but I’m afraid to take it because it seems it has more side effects than Lexapro.
