So i went to the dermatologist last monday because i was freaking out about some skin irritation on my pelvic area. He dismissed it as simply skin irritation perhaps from shaving and gave me steroid cream and orders to follow up in 2 weeks. So now a few days after starting the cream the orginal spot is looking better but a new spot very close by has appeared…i have an appointment now to go back on monday as i cant bare to wait another full week. The new spot has zero pain on itching. any chance this is a herpes infection!?? Ugh!!!

it could just be infected hair follicles …when u say spot did it look like a spot or a blister that popped ?? anything in it like liquid herpes has a watery straw coloured liquid a spot has white like pus inside it
just looks like a little rash but nothing that is blistery or popping and like i mentioned it doesn’t itch or hurt at all
its most likley not herpes i wouldnt worry its probably just irritated hair follicles
