TSH levels have become unstable with large swing in meds

I have been on thyroid meds for over 20 years and in the past year I have had some really strange issues. Stomach pains, nausea, weakness a year ago.  Dr.’s scopes everything. Did digestion study and ultrasounds on my stomach — all negative results. A single blood test revealed nearly zero TSH in my system. Once meds were adjusted I began to eat normal and feel better. Meds went down 2 notches.  6 months ago TSH showed normal range.

For the past few weeks the fatigue has been crazy.  Stomach issues rearing their ugly head again for the past week. Went to Dr today.

TSH 6.98.

My question ...Has anyone had this happen and can anyone tell me what would cause such a large swing?

I was told TSH can fluctuate with inflammation in the body. I used to need more supplementation in the spring time for several years. Maybe inflammation involved with stomach is creating some of this change. Did they retest for hashimotos?

No. They just have been checking TSH levels.
