Procedure was OK until they tried to flush the bladder after the TURP and the catheter was not in the proper space, SO it went into "fake space"? had to be removed, etc then reinserted . Catheter will now stay in two weeks instead of two days until the urethra is healed. Anyone else have this happen?
What you have is a false passage, very common, and should be healed in times with the Foley catheter. You might have had it prior to the procedure if you had something inserted in your urethra before.
