Twitching all over the body

so its been a month now, i been getting twitching in my eye, back of my legs, thigh, left side of my forehead and above my lip sometimes …has any one experienced this before? i did have a baby 3 months ago if that matters , i have anxiety and some stress… in case that matters . its like on and off throughout the day..it scares me and causes my anxiety to get worse

you can relax! Twitching is very common with anxiety and stress. I had it starting in my 20s all over my body. At first it scared me but then I found out it was nothing harmful. It’s just one of the hundreds of symptoms that anxiety can cause.
The main thing to do is try to relax your mind as much as possible so that your symptom reduces or goes away. If you have anxiety you cannot seem to manage, counseling can help steer you in the right direction. There are great meditations on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, depression, etc. I listen to these every night and I fall asleep so relaxed and peaceful.
so try not to respond with anxiety when you get the twitch is because that will make them even more noticeable. If I ever get them I just ignore them and they eventually go away. You’re going to be just fine! Take care and just remember to get our yearly physical with your doctor for your peace of mind.:heart::heart:

Are you on a new medication for depression and or anxiety? If so, talk to your doctor because some of these meds can have devastating side affects. One drug I was taking cause me to misjudge things and take horrible falls. I would twitch and my legs would feel like rubber going down. Broke a rib and had a subderal hematoma because on one fall

I’m going through the same thing only I’m having twitches literally everywhere (hands, arms, chest, back, stomach, butt, legs, feet, face). I have twitches every single day & they range from tiny to one big jerk. I have had so many tests & all normal. My family doctor & neurologist say it’s anxiety. I originally started with tingling in hands & feet…that stressed me out & then I developed new symptoms…the more i stress, the worse symptoms get. My symptoms all started right after I had a baby as well. I had my 2nd child in December 2017 & symptoms started in March 2018 . I’m still nursing at night- but im trying to cut that out so I can take some anxiety medication. Praying that works!
