Sometimes I can feel twitching movement / feel for few sec/mins at my epigastric area before or after take a meal.. It make me feel uncomfortable.. Izzit related to my post op gallbladder 8 months ago? Thanks
Galbladder removal can trigger complications like IBS and bile acid malabsorption. A twitching stomach is an IBS symptom. I have had twitching in my stomach with IBS. I noticed it on the day I was diagnosed. Pain/discomfort during or after eating is common with Irritable Bowel. Maybe a food diary would help to uncover any food intolerances.
Also see your doctor again and ask to see a GI specialist.
Ic ic. Will ask my doctor about IBS. Thank you so much~
You may need tests to rule out other problems but if nothing else shows up, IBS is the diagnosis.
Today about 1 hr after breakfast, my holiday mood almost ruined by pain... My epigastric suddenly pain. The pain radiated to my left shoulder, my back and my ribs for about 10 mins then stop, come back again after half an hour for 2 3 times. I almost want rush to emergency unit but then the pain gone like the pain know I want go hosp =.=
Avoid whatever you ate for breakfast in case that triggered pain.
Noted! Thanks!
Take care.
Thank you so much pippa for all the reply~
Can I ask izzit normal to have a somethings they called Lump at belly incision after 8 months post op?
I've never had any stomach surgery to judge this but if you have noticed something unusual post op, ask your doctor or get referred again to your surgeon.
