Twitching eye and face for 6 months plus

My partner started off with twitching in one eye at first it was infrequent, it then be came all the time,then it progressed to the whole side of his face.

He visited the doctor and was told nothing could be done when it was just the eye. When the whole side of the face started we went to the surgery together. Guess what the time we was in there his face didn't do it. Blood tests were ordered came back fine. The health care assistant who took the blood sore it,I don't know if she wrote on his notes that she had seen how bad it was.

Does anyone have any suggestions. One thought I had is wisdom teeth catching a nerve. Any advice welcomed.thanks.

It sounds a bit like hemifacial spasm. You could Google it to see if the symptoms are what your partner has, as that is just a guess on my part.

Hello there. Not sure about the face, but I do know that a eye twitch is due to stress, tiredness or cold weather. I'd recommend seeing an optometrist too because they can do a field test that can give clues about whether the nerves in the head area are fine or not.  Best of wishes.
