i suffer from fibro and recently had problems with my eyes..i have twitching and blurred vision as if a migraine is about to start. has anyone else suffer from this?

I suffer from ME and have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (mainly affecting neck and shoulders). I also experienced twitching eye muscles - lasted about a month and was very visible to others - I found that I would put my hand over my face when I could feel it happening. Also had twitching in my left buttock (has now left me with a lop-sided bum - only kidding!)
My vision also becomes very blurred at times and when this happens it is an indication that I am going to have a particularly bad day ME wise - it is a sign that I need to rest.
ME and fibromyalgia are very closely linked in many ways - and are both thoroughly horrible illnesses! :wah:

I was diagnosed with FMS and osteo-arthrirtis about 9 years ago, but recently I have been getting headaches. I woke up with a really bad headache and went to the doctor. I was told I have high blood pressure but that it might be an idea to get my eyes checked.
I went to the optician and I was told that FMS was affecting my eye muscles and that the twitching and headaches were all part of the symptoms.
I can say that since seeing the optician I feel more in control but with so many other things wrong with me I am just waiting for something else to go wrong with my health, BUT MY KIDS KEEP ME GOING BECAUSE THEY NEED.

paddy i started having problems with my eyes last year.. went to optician and they were fab..done lots of test.. outcome is...seemingly u have a jelly stuff behind ur eyes and it can break off and that causes the blurred vision which they say i have got in my right eye... i was having trouble and she said it could be my meds i take or a weekness of my sight..so now..£300 later i have to wear varifocals glasses and sunglasses with my prescription in it for driving and my other specs for everyday use... maybe now i will c all the doors i walk into while struggling to walk lol..
i am in pain from head to toe today and have slept 3 hours this afternoon so prob wont sleep tonight now..aagggrrr... hope everyone is not in so much pain and hope to catch u all again soon xxx
