Welcome. You've come to a friendly supportive forum. What a long time you've had to wait. In the time leading up to the hip replacement our lives are so drastically affected. It's not just pain but disability, loss of activities, and decrease in social life. A very miserable way to live.

Have you been lurking here for a while? Do you know what to expect with your surgery? There's lots of people here ready to answer your questions and give encouragement. So stay in touch.

Once again, good luck hun. Hope you get some sleep tonight.

I was lucky, i went in at 7.30 and they did it around 11.30ish, then woke up and was taken to a ward.

Let us know you are ok as soon as you can.
