Two years ago today at age 70, I had a TURP. I documented it extensively at the time so I won’t repeat that now. Suffice to say, I am just as happy today that I had it done as I was once I fully recovered, which only took a few weeks. I resumed all normal activity after 3 weeks and although I can’t remember exactly, I’m pretty sure all the post-surgery symptoms had disappeared not long after. I have no issues other than the expected retro ejaculation (which the meds gave me so it was no big deal.) I get up usually just once per night (vs 2 or 3 times before) and I travelling is no longer stressful because I know if I have to go and there’s no restroom near, I can hold it! It may not be the best route for others but it was for me.
