My surgeon told me my cysts have blood vessels in them, they fill up with fluid, bleed and rupture. What type of cysts do I have does anyone know/think? I'm in agony every single day with them. And is it harder to have children with a lot of cysts on both ovaries?
It sounds like simple cysts I get the a lot too andte usually go but this time they're not, the are growng and causng unbelievable pain and I am still waiting for a op to remove them and ovary, tube, endimetriosis. I am 47 though, almost 48 andhave children. My daughter has pcos too and it has not yet been discussed with her about how it may affect her having children she is18. We all get cysts that rupture just before a period, s hopefully
That went to soon. Blinkin dog! Lol yes, hopefully it will no stop you conceiving. Dermoid cysts are ones that we have from birth and are basically undeveloped twins! They will be full of teeth, hair etc, must be quite emotional having one of them. Good luck! X
Thank you for replying to me. My doctor said my cysts will definetly rupture so I dont know what to do
There is nothing you need to do if they just rupture, but if they carry on causing pain you should insist on another scan to see if they are still there, if they are they need monitoring and ultimately removing. How long have they been painful? If its a while insist on a referral to gynae where they will monitor and also explain everything better than your gp. Remember gp's are general practitioners and don't really specialise in any area, all theycan do is ensure you are referred to the relevant specialist. They will pick things up during their working life but certainly will not be as specialised asthe relevant consultant you will see so don't just be happy with their word on things, they are really not qualified to say
