Hi I am in the UK. I think I had my first bout of D last month and put it down to food poisoning. But I am on day 18 of bout number 2. Last week I was sent to hospital and told it is more than likely D and I need a colonoscopy to confirm (wont hold my breath for that appointment to come through). I have had 2 courses of antibiotics and still have a contestant period like pain and a sudden pain like being kick by a horse. I am just eating soup, rice pudding, jelly and ice cream. Just sat waiting for the doctor to call me back, even though I know there is nothing he can do.
