Had some unprotected oral (both ways) and couple weeks later had a slight pain in my esophagus in one particular spot. Mistook it for a sore throat at first but it that clearly wasn’t it. 2.5 months later, still have the mild pain or what feels to be a sore that comes and goes. But on the same exact spot. Went to clinic, Tested negative for HIV/chlamydia/gonorreah/syphilis/HepB, etc. Relieved, But they didn’t test me for herpes. Well here I am, over 3 months later and still have it. Very mild irritation that comes and goes but same exact spot. Does anyone know anything about herpes esophagitis?? Could it be possible? Would something like this last this long?? 3 months?? No other symptoms at anytime or anywhere in my body.
