I had a sore appear at the base of my penile shaft near the pelvis about a week ago that isn’t resolving. I’ve been taking Accutane for cystic acne for the last three months and had other skin reactions, but this seems to be different. I had my last STI test in July and began dating my current partner in October with no sexual partners in between. I am going to try to get an appointment for an STI screening, but I am concerned it could be herpes or another STI. I was treated for HPV 8 years ago, but I have not had any recurrences since then. I am currently 29 and monogamously partnered. Thanks!
